The puppetry production develops a single situation with a single puppet: the central character, enthralled by reading a book, decides to write a book of its own. And everything that follows is just the peripeteia of a fierce struggle for the text itself. We are witnessing a process that has its ups and downs to the point of exhaustion…
The Academy of Arts and Cultural Studies in Osijek offers study programs in the arts, social sciences and humanities. Students can thus acquire diverse competences and be able to integrate into the contemporary eclectic world. This non-traditional university was founded by merging the Faculty of Cultural Studies and the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University (2018), and is thus the successor of both institutions. The Academy of Arts in Osijek was established in 2004-2005 and has become a cultural base for the whole region of eastern Croatia.
